bittersweet

today’s the last full day of vacation [ i go home tomorrow]. i’m insanely excited to see my munchkin and really sad it went so quickly… honestly, if winters here were not so insanely brutal, i would want to be here FOREVER [with my family of course].

this vacation was a huge success.

you know your child is growing up when he tells YOU that it’s bedtime and then refuses to sleep while you’re in the room.

for the past week every night after he’s fed and changed into his pj’s i’ll brush his teeth. not long after he’ll start telling us “nuh nighttt” until we put him to bed.

then last night i nursed him, as usual… he wouldnt sleep. i rocked him, again he wouldnt sleep. i put him in his bed and rubbed his belly, still no sleep. finally i just closed the door and went into the living room. he fussed for maybe three seconds and that was that.

that has NEVER happened before.. my little boy’s growing up! :)

in other news,  my boy is in the 97th percentile of height & head circumference, and 30th for weight. and he has 8 teeth [two of them molars] and is working on 2 more molars.. AND he blows kisses! :) :) :) so many new things, so little time to share.

but we’re just about moved in to our new place now and the internet is more or less fixed so we can get on with our lives, and i can stop neglecting my posts… so much for daily posts. haha

it’s been a while

things have been a little crazy lately but now that i’m back on track i’ve decided to stop neglecting you tumblr :)

UPDATES:

• i have a 4.0 this semester [YAY!]
• my little prince almost took a step today… looking forward to that soon!
• he is also working on tooth #3 [it’s a quarter of the way] & #4 is right behind it.
• i’m happy to say that 10 months after the birth of my son i am crazy enough confident enough to get a 2piece bathing suit.
• we’ll be moving to our new place soon. hallelujah!!
